Sydney & Max WEDDING at Blue Mountain Resort | lehigh valley wedding photographer

Sydney and Max said “I do” surrounded by the breathtaking mountain views of Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton, Pennsylvania.

Being a lehigh valley wedding photographer—and a wedding photographer, Allentown Pa couples lean on when they want something real—we’re always chasing the kind of imagery that feels cinematic yet timeless, emotional yet effortless. This day gave us all of it, and we still think about the way the mountain air, the soft light, and their calm connection worked together like it was meant to be.

their story

Sydney and Max’s connection is the kind you can feel from across the room—easy, grounded, and full of that “we’ve got this” energy.

Meeting on Bumble in 2021 set everything in motion, and it didn’t take long for their days to fall into a rhythm that feels so them: the gym, movie nights, and hiking with their dog, Blue—because if you’ve ever loved a dog, you know they end up being part of your love story too.

And when it came time to propose, Max kept it true to their everyday life in the best way. He popped the question while they were walking Blue at Trexler Nature Preserve. Simple. Thoughtful. Completely unforgettable.

moments we still think about

There’s something grounding about watching two people who are truly, deeply in love choose each other—again and again—through the small stuff and the big stuff. Sydney and Max’s wedding day was filled with those quiet, powerful moments that make our job so rewarding.

From the mountain ledge portraits to the in-between glances, their day was filled with timeless moments,  the kind of images you come back to decades from now—because you can feel them, not just see them.

The ceremony moments were just as powerful—especially against that mountain backdrop that makes Blue Mountain Resort feel like your own private overlook. The first kiss, the way they held hands like it was second nature, the quiet “we’re really doing this” look right before they walked back down the aisle.

The reception brought its own kind of magic, too—especially once golden hour started to fade and everything felt a little softer. Their first dance had that warm, glowy feeling that makes you want to freeze time, and we’re always grateful when a couple lets themselves be fully in it.

looking back

Sydney and Max, we hope married life is treating you so well—and that Blue is still getting all the hikes, all the sniff stops, all the attention.

Your Blue Mountain Resort wedding was such a beautiful beginning, and we’re genuinely honored we got to document it!
